Breakfast: smoothie

Dinner: roasted chicken with a side dish of sautéed beans

I splayed the chicken and rubbed it with my pesto mustard sauce (just like the "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner" post back in March: http://tightwad-zero-waste.blogspot.com/2017/03/winner-winner-chicken-dinner-mar-2.html), then roasted it for 2 hours at 350°. 




For the side dish, I sautéed sprouted lentils, mung beans, & almonds in schmaltz, along with some frozen peas and green onions. I added garlic powder, salt, & pepper as well as some kombudashi. I finished it up by adding some (previously blanched and frozen) beet greens. 



Yummy!
