Monday, April 3

Breakfast smoothie before class. 

Lunch at Wendy's between class and a rehearsal at church. I had the apple pecan salad, with no candied pecans and with just a little of balsamic vinaigrette dressing (rather than the pomegranate dressing that comes with it). 

After we got home, I cycled my kefir, but instead of starting another batch, I put the kefir grains in a strong sugar solution and stuck the jar in the fridge to "hibernate" while I'm gone for the next week. 

I also "harvested" my sauerkraut. OMG it is so good! The cabbage is still just a bit crunchy, and just perfectly sour to my taste! I can't wait to eat it! 👍

 

For dinner, I had the leftover split pea soup from Wednesday's Lenten supper. 

And speaking of being gone for a week, I'm still not sure what I'll be eating, but I'll be sure to post what I do eat.
