Chicken Redux, Mar 3

Breakfast was the usual smoothie. I didn't have lunch because I had an assignment due today for grad school so I spent the day at the library getting it done. 

When I got home, I separated the meat and bones from last night's chicken which had been simmering overnight and all day today in the crockpot. The house smelled heavenly! 👍

When all was said and done, I had about 3 cups of shredded chicken and almost 6 cups of nicely seasoned chicken broth. 

 

This pic was taken after I used some of the chicken meat in a low carb tortilla wrap with ranch dressing, green leafy sprouts, and kojak cheese and after Brianne used some to sautee with rice and some Worcestershire sauce for dinner.
