Dinner: grilled pork chops with veggies (sprouted mixed beans, sprouted garbanzos, frozen peas, dilly beans, konbudashi mushrooms, onions, garlic, zucchini, & yellow squash), and sides of sauerkraut and fermented carrots & daikon.
In other news, I also finished up my sprouted beans today. After a final rinse, I dried them in terry towels, then put them into a plastic container with a bit of paper towel hanging out to wick away any remaining moisture.
While I'd love to be able to eliminate all my plastic containers, I don't have the money to replace them with glass. I already have these, so I will keep using them until they wear out.
The fermented watermelon was also finished this morning. I put it into the fridge and will try it in tomorrow's smoothie, though I am skeptical. 😐
